All Elite Wrestling first launched with Dynamite in 2019 and in 2021 the company added Rampage to their TV schedule. In recent weeks it’s been rumored that the company could be introducing a third show that would air on Saturdays.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that the AEW Rampage taping in Regina, Saskatchewan which was scheduled for 7/14 has been moved to 7/8. It’s still listed as a TV taping, but not a Rampage taping.
It’s being reported that as of right now the plan is for AEW to launch a third show that will air on Saturdays. Things are being kept quiet regarding plans for the new show, but it’s being said that it’s close enough to a done deal that the news about the taping in Regina, Saskatchewan being moved basically confirms it. It was also noted that the fact that the change was made this week seems to confirm that plans are close to finalized.
If the show ends up airing on TNT it’s expected that there will be a lot sports preemptions, and that there will still be some of that if the show aired on TBS as well. AEW has yet to make any official announcements regarding a third show. Stay tuned for updates.
