There’s been a lot of talk about TV deals over the last year or so, and now everyone is waiting to see what the future holds for All Elite Wrestling and their relationship with Warner Bros. Discovery.
Fightful Select reports that a new deal between Warner Bros. Discovery and AEW is expected, but not done as of right now. Sources close to WBD’s side have said that there is nothing imminent. Neither company is expected to make an announcement imminently, and neither side has agreed to the framework of a deal. Both sides expect a new deal to be reached, and it’s being said that things continue to be amicable.
Tony Khan and David Zaslav are both set to be in Paris for the Olympics and there are plans for them to meet. They are supposed to have conversations regarding the deal, but it’s not guaranteed that a deal will be reached.
Other sources have noted that an offer has likely been made, but as of today an agreement is not in place. Stay tuned for updates.
