Everybody wants to know about Neville. Since The King Of The Cruiserweights took off before Raw a couple weeks ago many people have been under the assumption that he’s gone from WWE.
Dave Meltzer commented in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter how his sources believe Neville is “100% gone” from WWE. However, there hasn’t been any such announcement from Vince McMahon and Company. Either they’re no-selling the situation or WWE is just waiting it out to see if it gets any better.
But the chances of WWE returning to the Neville Level any time soon is getting even slimmer by the day. Meltzer recently commented about Neville’s current WWE status on Wrestling Observer Radio where he didn’t have the most promising things to report in case you’re one of the people who hate to see The King Of The Cruiserweights give up his crown.
“He’s gotta work out– [Neville and WWE have to] work out the release and what terms they give him for his release and everything like that. I don’t know anything new on that more than that,” Meltzer said.
Therefore, if Dave Meltzer hasn’t heard anything new on the situation then it’s likely no headway has been made in bringing Neville back into the fold. After all, Enzo bragged about how he made Neville quit at a recent house show.
Therefore as sad as it might be to some WWE loyalists the fact is Neville will most likely go back to using “Pac” as his name and continue where he left off five years ago when he signed a contract with WWE in the first place.
Neville had a ton of opportunities but aside from a great run in NXT, it seemed like WWE just never offered them to him. But one thing WWE did do was make his name even bigger so he can dive back into the deep talent pool that the world’s pro wrestling scene has to offer and swim with the best of the big fish. Even if Neville has to go back to using Pac as his name, he’ll be just fine.
