It’s been a bad week for Dean Ambrose. The former WWE Champion found himself on the wrong end of a beat down courtesy of Samoa Joe, Cesaro and Sheamus, and it turns out that the beat down was meant to write Ambrose off TV because he is injured.
Ambrose recently underwent surgery to repair a triceps injury, and it doesn’t sound like we’ll be seeing him back on TV as soon as some would like.
PWInsider is reporting that Dean Ambrose was released from the hospital, and he was spotted in Nevada yesterday.
Word going around backstage is that Ambrose has been working hurt for awhile, and that WWE officials felt it was time for him to get the injury taken care of.
The hope at this point is that Ambrose will be able to return to action in 2 to 3 months, but that’s not set in stone right now.
Speaking of WWE Superstars who are currently out of action, Becky Lynch was written off TV a few weeks ago after she was assaulted by The Riott Squad, and she hasn’t been seen since.
Lynch took time off so she could film “The Marine 6: Close Quarters” with The Miz and Shawn Michaels, but it’s being reported that filming wrapped this week, and all three stars have returned home. Hopefully that means we’ll be seeing Becky Lynch on TV again soon.
