A few years ago Kaitlyn was one of the top stars in the WWE women’s division, and she went on to win the Divas Championship. But the division was nothing like it is today, so she decided to move on and part ways with the company.
Kaitlyn spent several years focusing on other projects, but she recently started training again, and she wrestled her first match in 4 years at an independent event in Florida.
Her return to the ring has many fans wondering if she’ll be signing a new WWE contract in the near future, but it doesn’t look like that’s going to be happening. PWInsider is reporting that there’s currently no indication that WWE will be signing her, however it’s been speculated that her return to the ring is a sign that she has a bigger goal in mind than just wrestling on the independent scene.
Despite the fact that it’s being reported there are no plans for her to return to WWE at the moment, she did say in a recent interview that she’s on good terms with the company, so never say never in regards to a WWE return for the former Divas Champion.
Velveteen Dream is one of the brightest up and coming stars in NXT, and he’s received a lot of praise from the wrestling community over the last few months.
Dream recently took to Twitter to say that he’s irritated with “Indy guys” joining NXT and taking spots, and you can see what he had to say below.
