John Cena is one of the most successful WWE Superstars in history. He is a 16 time WWE World Champion after all, but fans have been seeing less and less of John Cena over the last few years thanks to the fact that business has picked up for his acting career.
Cena recently made his return to Monday Night Raw on Christmas Day, and he also announced that he will be entering the Royal Rumble match on January 28.
But fear not Cena fans, it doesn’t look like he’ll be disappearing again after the Royal Rumble pay-per-view, as a matter of fact it looks like we’ll be seeing a lot more of him in the weeks following the event.
WWE.com is currently advertising Cena for Monday Night Raw the night after the Royal Rumble, and he’s also being advertised for every episode of Raw up through the February 26 episode in Anaheim, CA.
Cena is also being advertised for the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view on February 25 which will be a Raw brand exclusive event.
Even though Cena will be working on Raw for several weeks after the Royal Rumble, he will still maintain his free agent status, and he’s being advertised for a “special guest appearance” at the SmackDown Live exclusive Fastlane pay-per-view in March.
As far as what’s planned for Cena at the Show of Shows this year, his opponent is unknown, but it was recently reported that his match will be even “bigger” than a WWE Championship match.
