We noted earlier that John Cena was selling his storyline knee injury at last night’s WWE live event as well as a groin injury. According to a report by PWInsider Cena’s groin injury is legitimate as apparently he suffered a groin tear. Their report goes on to state that John Cena was “pretty bad off” backstage last night.
WWE wanted to keep Cena off of live events for a while but Cena refused. John Cena is said to be working through the injury because of the fact that it’s WrestleMania season.
This could certainly be a blow to the company as John Cena has been going strong for over 10 years now with very few breaks from in ring action. Knowing Cena he will most likely power through it but it brings up the question of how much longer can he go at full speed without taking proper time to heal?
