John Cena’s star is on the rise in Hollywood, and that means he’s been taking more and more time away from WWE with each passing year. Cena recently landed a lead role in a huge franchise when it was announced that he’ll be playing one of the characters in the upcoming Transformers spinoff “Bumblebee” and it was rumored that the 16 time World Champion was being considered for another big franchise.
It’s been rumored that Cena was being eyed for the lead role in “Shazam!” which is set in the DC Extended Universe. However, it doesn’t look like we’re going to be seeing John Cena’s Shazam battle The Rock’s Black Adam on the big screen.
PWInsider is now reporting that Cena did meet with director David F. Sandberg last month, but he is not one of the names on the list of stars being considered for the film.
The WWE Raw brand will be holding two live events in India in December in New Delhi at the Indira Ghandi Indoor Stadium. The events will run on 12/7 and 12/8 and tickets are now on sale.
Even though the shows are Raw branded events, current WWE Champion Jinder Mahal is being advertised for the tour. Roman Reigns, Finn Balor, Braun Strowman, Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Alexa Bliss, The Miz, Bayley and more are also being advertised.
WWE will also hold an event in Abu Dhabi on 12/6.
