WWE Payback kicked off with the finals of the tag team tournament as Enzo & Big Cass faced off against The Vaudevillains. The match was off to a great start but it unfortunately had to be cut short when Enzo Amore was injured.
Simon Gotch whipped Enzo into the ropes and Enzo landed awkwardly as he smacked his face against the ropes and then the mat. Enzo then landed on the outside of the ring and he stopped moving so the match was called off.

Enzo was carried out of the arena on a stretcher and he was taken to a local medical facility. Michael Cole later told the audience that Enzo was moving and talking. Cole came back with another update and revealed that Enzo suffered a concussion during his match. He said that the doctors also did other tests on Enzo at the hospital and all the other tests came back negative.
Shortly before Payback ended the official WWE Twitter account posted another update announcing that Enzo had been discharged from the hospital. We hope to have more updates as they become available and we wish Enzo Amore a safe and speedy recovery.

Dean Ambrose got a big win over Chris Jericho Sunday night when he defeated Jericho with Dirty Deeds at Payback. Ambrise talked a little bit about the match a little bit backstage and he said he’s wrestled everybody all over the world, and he doesn’t care if people like him or hate him as long as they know who they’re talking to. You can check it out in the clip below.
