2017 has been a good year for Braun Strowman, but unfortunately it seems that he’s ending the year on the wrong note, as the Monster Among Men was recently pulled from WWE live events.
Strowman has managed to get the fans behind him, so people definitely notice when he isn’t around.
It was reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that the reason why Braun Strowman was sent home is because he has the flu. Strowman was sent home on Thursday due to the illness.
Despite the fact that Braun Strowman was pulled from WWE live events, PWInsider is reporting that he’s set to be at Monday Night Raw in Miami this week. There’s currently no word on if he’ll be in action, but he is set to be at the event.
This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw will air live on New Year’s Day, so hopefully Braun will be able to start 2018 off right by making his return to the ring and doing what he does best.
Monday Night Raw is set to feature the return of WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar, along with an Intercontinental Championship match that will see Roman Reigns defend his belt against Samoa Joe. If Roman is disqualified the title will change hands.
Enzo Amore is also set to defend the Cruiserweight Championship against Cedric Alexander on Raw.
