Wrestling stars such as The Rock, Batista, John Cena and others have found success in Hollywood, and now it seems that some of wrestling’s most interesting stories are set to be told on the big screen.
“Fighting With My Family” will tell the story of Paige’s family when it’s released and a film titled “Pandemonium” based on the life of Vince McMahon is also in development. Playing Vince McMahon in a movie is no easy task, and it was recently reported that an offer had been made to Bradley Cooper for him to take on the lead role.
PWInsider is now reporting that Bradley Cooper is currently waiting on an updated version of the script before he makes the decision on whether or not he wants to take the role.
The current plan for the movie is to start shooting in the spring of 2018, but whether or not things will go according to plan depends on casting for the film and a final script being approved.
The original version of the script written by Craig A. Williams reportedly added some racy and fictional elements to Vince’s story.
Glenn Ficara and John Requa who directed the pilot for “This Is Us” and the film “Whiskey Tango Foxtrot” are set to direct the film.
