You never know what’s going to happen in the world of professional wrestling. Last week Bobby Lashley and EC3 were part of the Impact Wrestling roster, but now they are not, and it looks like they’re both making moves.
It has reportedly been confirmed that former TNA World Heavyweight Champion EC3 is WWE bound, but Lashley returning to WWE isn’t a given at this point.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that Bobby Lashley is current negotiating with WWE, but New Japan Pro Wrestling has also shown interest in Lashley as well.
Prior to his WWE departure, Bobby Lashley was receiving a very strong push, and the company was grooming him to be a top star, but the two sides did have a major falling out when he left.
However, history has shown that time can heal all wounds in the world of professional wrestling. One of the biggest factors for Lashley seems to be the schedule as he reportedly doesn’t want to work a full time WWE schedule.
EC3 is free and clear of his Impact Wrestling contract, so he could potentially show up in the Royal Rumble match.
Lashley is in a different situation though as his contract doesn’t expire until February, so if for some reason he did come to terms with WWE on a deal he would need Impact’s permission to appear in the Rumble.
