Earlier today it was reported that WWE World Champion AJ Styles may have suffered an injury during the TLC main event, as he was seen walking with a noticeable limp after the match was over. Fan in attendance also noted that medical officials checked on AJ Styles after the match.
According to F4Wonline.com, AJ Styles suffered a minor ankle injury during his Tables Ladders and Chairs match with Dean Ambrose. After TLC it was announced that AJ Styles is set to defend his WWE Championship against James Ellsworth on SmackDown Live this week. At this point it remains to be seen if the ankle injury will cause plans for the match to change, or if AJ Styles will miss any time in the ring.
WWE has announced that Brock Lesnar will be appearing at the February 17th live event in Dallas, TX. Tickets are set to go on sale this Friday, but fans can purchase tickets through the pre-sale by using the code BROCK.
Brock Lesnar recently defeated Rusev at the WWE live event in Mexico over the weekend, and he’s also being advertised for the March 10th live event in Buffalo, NY.
Brock Lesnar’s last televised match was against Goldberg at Survivor Series. Goldberg defeated Brock Lesnar during their last encounter, and it has since been confirmed that both men will be competing in the Royal Rumble match.
