United States Championship Match Set For Raw Tonight

Raw started out in dubious fashion with the shark cage in the middle of the ring and Roman Reign’s music hit. Roman came down and started to cut a promo hyping his match at the Royal Rumble but was interrupted by Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho.

Jericho brought up the fact that he still wasn’t happy with the fact that he must hover above the ring in the shark cage on Sunday. After an exchange back and forth Kevin Owens ended up volunteering his best friend, Chris Jericho to put his United States Championship on the line night on Raw. The cracks in the best, best friendship in the WWE are starting to show, as Jericho looked highly displeased by this turn of events.

Roman Reigns is set to challenge Kevin Owens for his Universal Championship on Sunday at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view. Now he has the possibility of going into the event as the United States champion as well. Some fans speculated that Vince might want Roman to hold two belts to resemble a more dominate champion, and at this point anything is still possible. When it comes to the Royal Rumble, nothing is off the table.
