Back in January WWE introduced a brand new title with the United Kingdom Championship Tournament, and Tyler Bate won the tournament to become the first ever WWE United Kingdom Champion.

WWE brought the action back to the United Kingdom this weekend, and Pete Dunne battled Trent Seven for the right to challenge Tyler Bate for the United Kingdom Championship.
In the end it was Pete Dunne who won the title shot, and it’s been announced that he will be challenging for the title at NXT TakeOver: Chicago, which is set to air on the WWE Network on May 20.
WWE has also confirmed that the two events that took place in Norwich, England at Epic Studios over the weekend will air on the WWE Network later this month.
