It’s been a crazy week for TNA, and it’s well known that several parties are involved in sale negotiations. There was some speculation earlier in the week that TNA’s upcoming events wouldn’t be happening next week due to lack of funding, but apparently that’s not the case.
Dixie Carter recently indicated on Twitter that Bound For Glory, and next week’s TNA Impact tapings will be happening as planned, leaving people to wonder where the funding is coming from. According to the New York Post, Bound For Glory is being funded by an unidentified third party.
“It’s a go, as far as I’ve been told,” Billy Corgan told The Post.
The report mentions that both WWE and Billy Corgan are expected to resume sale talks after this weekend. The New York Post’s sources noted once again that if Dixie Carter reaches an agreement with WWE then WWE would likely just acquire the tape library and shut TNA down.
Meanwhile, Dixie Carter continues to hype up Bound For Glory on Twitter.
