Saturday Night’s Main Event aired live from the Bell Centre in Montreal on Saturday night and the show gave fans plenty to talk about. Jacob Faut and Cody Rhodes brawled throughout the arena, Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky successfully defended the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship and AJ Styles picked up a big win over Shinsuke Nakamura.
The action continued in the main event as Randy Orton, Trick Williams, Damian Priest and Sami Zayn all faced off in a fatal four way match to determine who would challenge Drew McIntyre for the Undisputed WWE Championship at the Royal Rumble.
Near the end of the match Sami Zayn went for the Helluva Kick on Trick Williams, but Trick moved out of the way. Trick then went to the top rope and Sami knocked him down then went for a superplex. Damian Priest grabbed Sami and connected with a Razor’s Edge. He then set his sights on Trick Williams and they battled back and forth as Trick was standing the ring apron.
While Damian was distracted by Trick, Sami hit a Helluva Kick on Priest and pinned him to win the match. After the match Drew McIntyre tried to attack Sami Zayn, but Sami threw him out of the ring then celebrated as the show went off the air.
The WWE Royal Rumble will air live from Saudi Arabia on Saturday, January 31st and the current card can be seen below.
