Roman Reigns vs. The Undertaker is one of the most anticipated matches on the WrestleMania card, and Reigns made his way out to the ring on Raw this week to address Taker one more time before the big show.
Reigns grabbed a mic and reminded the Philly crowd that he won the 2015 Royal Rumble match in the very same building, and they responded with some very loud boos. He told the fans that his match with The Undertaker will be the biggest match of his career, because he’s going to put The Deadman down at WrestleMania. The crowd tried to overpower him by chanting for The Undertaker.
Roman told the fans that he doesn’t care what The Undertaker thinks, because the WWE is his yard now and then Taker’s gong hit. A creepy video aired on the big screen, and Taker told Roman that WWE is still his yard, and he’s carved out a special corner of hell for him. The camera pulled back to show The Undertaker digging a grave as he told Roman that The Ultimate Thrill Ride will be his last ride.
The Undertaker advised Roman Reigns to live each day as if it’s his last, and he was about to tell him that at WrestleMania, he will rest in peace, but then the lights went out and when they came back on Taker was standing in the ring.
Taker then grabbed a mic and finished his sentence when he told Roman that at WrestleMania he will rest in peace.
The Deadman raised his arms as thunder echoed throughout the arena, and he stared Roman down as the lights went out and the segment ended.
One way or another, it looks like we’ll be finding out just who owns the yard on WrestleMania Sunday.
