Hold on to your black rimmed hats and leather trench coats folks, The Undertaker is returning to WWE this month. Earlier today the Mohegan Sun Arena announced that the Undertaker will be making his return for the 900th episode of SmackDown which is set to take place from Wilkes-Barre, PA on November 15.
It’s interesting to note that the 900th episode of SmackDown will be the last episode before this year’s Survivor Series. However, at this time there’s no indication that The Undertaker will be making an appearance at the pay-per-view.
The Undertaker has not been seen on WWE programming since WrestleMania 32. Taker put his WrestleMania career on the line in a Hell in a Cell match against Shane McMahon, and it was Taker who walked away with the victory.
The Phenom was being advertised for live events overseas following WrestleMania, but he was later pulled from the events.
Recently photos of The Undertaker walking with crutches surfaced online, and it was revealed that he recently had surgery, and was using the crutches as part of his recovery.
