You never know what can happen on the Road To WrestleMania and it certainly looks like this year is going to be full of action and plenty of drama as we approach the Show Of Shows. The Undertaker hasn’t been seen since Raw 25 but no mention of Mania was brought up during his short and strange promo. However, he did actually say a lot more than most might think.
Bryan Alvarez noted on Wrestling Observer Live how the story for Undertaker’s match against John Cena was actually set up during Raw 25 when he listed off some of the greats he has defeated. “For all of those who have fallen may you rest in peace” could have very well been a great introduction to a package about WWE Superstars we’ve lost throughout the years, but no such video was played after his promo. Instead, he just walked out of the Manhattan Center leaving many people to wonder what is going on.
The build for Cena vs Taker probably won’t start until the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view is over as Alvarez noted The Dead Man doesn’t even need to show up in Las Vegas to make it happen. Since Taker seemingly left the door open for a challenge, it’s likely that Cena will make one. So The Undertaker is taking every chance he can to train at home with his wife Michelle McCool.
Fans last saw the still Flawless McCool at the Royal Rumble as she did pretty well for herself. She recently posted a few videos to Instagram featuring herself training in the gym and even included one short clip of Taker clanging and banging as well.
Only time will tell how the Road To WrestleMania goes for The Undertaker this year. But it certainly looks like he’s getting ready for something.
