Where Were Tyler Breeze And Fandango At SummerSlam?

If you noticed something odd about SummerSlam you’re not alone. In fact you might have noticed a few weird things about the show. Starting off, the Hardys and Jason Jordan got practically no audience as they lost to Miz and The Miztourage because the crowd was still filing in.

There was a rather odd happenstance of placing the second best match on the card as the last match on the kickoff show too. Although if WWE was using that as a strategy to bring in more last minute WWE Network subscriptions it might not have been a bad idea because that contest was insanely good.

But another rather odd thing about SummerSlam was the fact that Breezango were nowhere in sight. Tyler Breeze and his cohort Fandango have been able to turn their gimmick into something very entertaining. Each week the Fashion Files segments have entertained us more than pretty much anything else on the show. But they weren’t invited to The Biggest Party Of The Summer.

When their last Fashion Peaks segment aired it said Breezango would be back in two weeks. So we can only assume they’ll be missing the events in Brooklyn entirely and returning next week on SmackDown Live. Only time will tell what will happen next but it was noted on Wrestling Observer Radio how WWE doesn’t really have any good options when it comes to revealing who trashed their dressing room and murdered their stick horsey Tully (even though they should have named him Arn).

But there is a possibility of bringing up a new team to face Breezango which might be a shame because in theory the new team would have to go over Breeze and Dango. It was theorized previously by Dave Meltzer how it could be Authors of Pain because they did just drop the NXT Tag Team Championships at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn III. But some would still consider them too green for the call-up.

However it was theorized another team that was seemingly forgotten about at the WWE Performance Center might be more ready than AOP. Heavy Machinery are primed to jump up if they got the call too. Because Tucker Knight and Otis Dozovic might have the unique look and charisma to do well on the main roster.

Only time will tell because after all WWE is run by Vince McMahon who can sometimes change his mind about a match finish in the middle of the contest. But we certainly can’t wait to see Breezango do their thing in the ring again. Let’s just hope it’s not a total squash match.
