A lot of people look at Tye Dillinger and they see a potential superstar. He’s fantastic in the ring, which went unappreciated for far too long. The NXT Universe recognized his work and made him a star in NXT, but it’s apparent he’s hit the ceiling in WWE developmental.

It’s been reported by CageSideSeats that Samoa Joe, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Tye Dillinger could be surprise entrants into the Royal Rumble. Joe wouldn’t really be a surprise since he’s been rumored for months and Nakamura would likely just be a one-off debut for exposure.
Tye Dillinger is someone who is clearly not going to be pushed into the NXT title picture, and there is only so long that he can put over the future stars of the brand before becoming one himself. There is some speculation that “The Perfect 10” will be coming to SmackDown soon.
A lot of people think that Dillinger is just another NXT guy who won’t get over on the main roster. Of course, that’s possible. But, he’s a really good wrestler, and the “10” gimmick is so simple and fun. If Daniel Bryan’s “Yes” chant can get over, there is no reason why “10” can’t.
