WWE has had to make some major changes to WrestleMani 36 this week, as it was recently announced that the Show of Shows would be moving to the Performance Center in Orlando, and that only essential personnel will be allowed to attend the event.
WrestleMania 36 will also be split up into two nights this year. With so many changes being made to Mania due to the coronavirus WWE is reportedly looking to limit the amount of Superstars who can gather in the ring at one time.
According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal, and the women’s battle royal have both been pulled from the show.
The company reportedly pulled the matches from the card to abide by CDC and government recommendations.
PWS also notes that they reached out to WWE for a comment and the company confirmed that the battle royals will not be taking place at WrestleMania this year.
