Things change fast in the world of professional wrestling and there’s no way of telling who might break out at the right time. Now seems that there are at least two stars on Monday Night Raw who have been praised by WWE officials as of late.
Fightful Select reports that Kofi Kingston and Ivar of The Viking Raiders have both been receiving high marks for their matches on Raw recently. Originally The New Day were set to face The Viking Raiders in a two out of three falls match that was slated for a lot of time. When Erik got injured WWE just let Kofi Kingston and Ivar wrestle for the scheduled time and the match was praised.
Ivar was said to have impressed many backstage as he hadn’t had a singles on WWE TV that went over ten minutes in nearly five years, but he didn’t miss a beat. WWE officials are now open minded on using Ivar as a singles wrestler as follow up matches with Xavier Woods and the Viking Rules match with Kofi Kingston were also praised.
