Between Raw, SmackDown and NXT, WWE has a lot of content to produce every week, which means there need to be a lot of ideas on the table.
Over the years WWE’s writing team has expanded, and now it looks like the team includes two top superstars.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Edge and Daniel Bryan have significant creative influence on Raw and SmackDown respectively.
Meltzer noted that the term he was given is that they are now part of the writing team for the respective shows.
At this point in time it’s not entirely clear if Bryan and Edge are just writing their own storylines, or if they’re also contributing ideas for other angles.
