The last few days have certainly been eventful for WWE fans. The company took over Tampa, FL and on Sunday the stars of NXT stepped into the spotlight at Battleground.
Stephanie Vaquer managed to successfully defend her NXT Women’s Championship against Jordynne Grace at the premium live event, but she then went on to defend the title once again when Vaquer faced off against Jacy Jayne during this week’s episode of NXT. In the end Jacy Jayne shocked the world when she defeated Stephanie Vaquer to become the new NXT Women’s Champion.
It seems that both Stephanie Vaquer and Jordynne Grace could be finishing up with the NXT brand soon as Cory Hays of PWN is reporting that Vaquer is expected to get called up to Raw and Grace is expected to join SmackDown.
Stephanie Vaquer and Jordynne Grace have been featured as two of the top stars in the NXT women’s division ever since they joined the brand, so it will be interesting to see who steps into the title picture now that NXT has a new women’s champion in Jacy Jayne.
