We’re only a few weeks away from WrestleMania 34, and the stars of SmackDown Live will be wrestling at the Fastlane pay-per-view in March, which also happens to be the last pay-per-view event before the Show of Shows.
This week two big title matches were added to the card, as Shane McMahon announced that Bobby Roode will defend his WWE United States Championship against Randy Orton at Fastlane.
The New Day also faced off against Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin to determine who will challenge The Usos for the SmackDown Tag Team Titles at Fastlane, and The New Day won the match.
At one point Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin hit Big E with a double team move, but Kofi Kingston distracted the referee while Xavier Woods broke up the pin. As Gable and Benjamin argued with the ref, Woods threw Gable out the ring then hit Benjamin with a shining wizard to win the match.
