Two Team Raw Members Reportedly Worked Hurt During Survivor Series Main Event

Survivor Series recently aired on the WWE Network, and the main event was loaded with big names. Kurt Angle, Triple H, Finn Balor, Braun Strowman and Samoa Joe teamed up to form team Raw, and they took on the team of Shane McMahon, Randy Orton, John Cena, Bobby Roode and Shinsuke Nakamura.

Triple H and Kurt Angle both recently returned to the ring, and their rivalry was one of the focal points of the main event, but it looks like Angle and Triple H weren’t at one hundred percent during the match.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Triple H was banged up after he recently returned to the ring after several months off and wrestled main events in the UK, which is why the former World Champion didn’t do much during the Survivor Series main event.

It was also noted that Kurt Angle’s leg was wrapped up and his knee was bucking during the match.

Fans waited a long time to see Kurt Angle return to the ring, and at TLC last month it finally happened. However, Angle himself has said that he definitely can’t wrestle a full time schedule anymore, so it looks like WWE officials will have to keep Kurt’s in-ring appearances to a minimum if they want to get the most out of the WWE Hall of Famer.

After all, WrestleMania will be here before we know it, so hopefully we’ll be seeing the Olympic Hero compete on the Grandest Stage of Them All.
