This year’s Survivor Series pay-per-view saw Raw and SmackDown Live go head to head, and in the end it was Raw that came out on top with a final score of 4-3.
Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn didn’t get to compete in the traditional Survivor Series match, but they were featured on the kickoff show. Owens and Zayn have been big time players on SmackDown Live as of late, but they recently teased that they could be Raw bound.
During a backstage interview at Survivor Series, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens were asked if they were trying to prove a point with their victory on the pre-show, and Zayn said it was a mistake for SmackDown Live to leave them behind.
Sami said that he had a lot of problems with Stephanie McMahon while she was on Raw, but after dealing with Shane on SmackDown, he thinks Stephanie is a “delight” and he formally apologized to Stephanie McMahon.
Stephanie then shook their hands, and told them she’s sorry they’re in the position they’re in.
Shortly after WrestleMania 33, WWE held a Superstar Shake-up, and after SummerSlam a few stars got called up from NXT.
It was rumored at one point that WWE officials were considering doing another Superstar Shake-up before the end of the year, but it’s not known at this point whether or not that’s in the plans.
