A few weeks ago it was confirmed that the first WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions will be crowned at Elimination Chamber, and the match is set to feature 3 teams from Raw, and 3 teams from SmackDown Live.
This week on Raw, WWE held qualifying matches to determine which stars from the red brand will be getting a shot at the belts.
Nia Jax and Tamina defeated Alexa Bliss & Mickie James to become the first team to qualify for the match. Sarah Logan & Liv Morgan later defeated Natalya & Dana Brooke to earn the right to challenge for the titles at Elimination Chamber.
So far only two teams have qualified, but it was also announced that Bayley & Sasha Banks will be facing Alicia Fox & Nikki Cross in a qualifying match next week.
Stay tuned for updates on the big title match as they become available.
