You never know when you might see a fresh face get called up to the WWE main roster, and it’s been rumored that WWE officials have been discussing plans for a few names from NXT.
On this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown fans saw Marcel Barthel make his main roster debut, and he introduced himself as Ludwig Kaiser. He then introduced former NXT UK Champion Gunther.
Gunther then faced off against a local competitor named Joe Alonzo in a squash match as Ludwig Kaiser looked on from the outside. Gunther dominated his opponent and quickly picked up the win with a powerbomb.
