There are quite a few talented stars in NXT right now, but you never know when one of them might show up on the main roster. A few of NXT’s finest recently got called up to join the 205 Live brand, and now it looks like WWE officials have their eyes on two more names from NXT.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that Ricochet and Lio Rush are being groomed to join the 205 Live brand sooner rather than later.
Lio Rush hasn’t been receiving much of a push in NXT as of late, but there are reportedly people within the company who are high on his abilities and think he could be a star.
WWE recently experimented with the first 205 Live events a few weeks ago, and the company still hopes to turn 205 Live into a touring brand.
The plan right now is to try and strengthen the brand and possibly set up some events and/or TV tapings sometime between May and September.
As noted, the company is currently moving forward with plans to introduce Cruiserweight Tag Team Titles for the 205 Live brand in the spring.
