This week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw featured some interesting developments as the stars of the red brand continued to set up the card for WrestleMania 34.
There were also some interesting names at Raw this, as PWInsider reports that Samoa Joe and Big Cass were both backstage at the arena.
The word on Big Cass is that he’s currently going through the final stages of being cleared, and he could be making his return to TV shortly.
In recent interviews Cass has indicated that he would be ready to return around WrestleMania season, and the talk backstage was that he could potentially be making his return before the Show of Shows.
Big Cass has been out of action ever since he tore an ACL during a Street Fight with Enzo Amore on Raw the night after SummerSlam in 2017.
Samoa Joe has been out of action since before the Royal Rumble match. Joe was originally scheduled to enter the match, but he was pulled after it was discovered he was dealing with an injury.
It appears that Joe may also be close to returning as this was reportedly the first time he’s been backstage since the Royal Rumble match, but he didn’t appear on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw.
