The Royal Rumble aired live from Saudi Arabia over the weekend and there was a lot of speculation regarding possible surprise entrants for the men’s and women’s Royal Rumble matches.
While both matches featured some interesting surprises, Fightful Select is reporting that neither Saraya nor Karrion Kross were approached for possible appearances at the Royal Rumble.
Karrion Kross parted ways with WWE last year when his contract expires and since then there have been a number of fans calling for his return on social media. Following his departure he returned to the independent scene and Kross recently won the MLW World Heavyweight Championship.
Saraya has not appeared on WWE programming in years as she parted ways with the company in 2022 then joined All Elite Wrestling shortly after. She went on to win the AEW Women’s Championship in 2023 then officially finished up with the company in 2025.
There’s been a lot of speculation regarding a possible return for Saraya after she posted some videos of herself training in the ring recently. However, WWE has given no indication that the company is looking to bring her back.
