John Cena is celebrating 20 years with WWE this month and his return to Monday Night Raw has been hyped up for weeks now. Cena made an appearance at the beginning of the show in a backstage where he was cheered on by stars from the current roster. The 16 time WWE World Champion also gave some advice to The Street Profits.
When the show returned from commercial WWE proceeded to play several pre-taped video messages from names like Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Trish Stratus and more.
Current AEW star Paul Wight made a brief appearance in a video where he told Cena that he’s honored to call him a friend. Bryan Danielson also sent in a video and he thanked John Cena for being “an excellent leader.” Wight was listed as Big Show and Bryan Danielson was listed Daniel Bryan in the text on the screen.
