Recently WWE has been making some big changes behind the scenes by hiring Paul Heyman as Executive Director of Raw and Eric Bischoff as Executive Director of SmackDown Live.
It looks like the company is making more changes, as Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that two top writers on the creative team were recently let go.
According to the report, SmackDown co-lead writer Steve Guerreri and Steve Oppenheim, in-office lead writer for Raw, were both let go last week.
Oppenheim had been with WWE since 2011, and Guerreri joined the company in 2012.
The decision to let them go was not made by Paul Heyman or Eric Bischoff. Heyman has started his new job as Executive Director while Eric Bischoff is expected to attend his first production meeting this week.
