Two Championship Matches Announced For Elimination Chamber, Updated Card

WWE has given fans a new reason to tune into Talking Smack. For those of you who don’t watch the weekly Smackdown after-show, then you missed an announcement of not one, but two championship match additions to the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view.

American Alpha joined the show as guests, and while on the panel it was announced that they will defend their titles in a tag-team turmoil match at the February 12th pay-per-view. This kind of match is no foreign territory to American Alpha, as it was recently used on SmackDown to determine the number one contenders, but at the last moment, the Wyatt Family appeared and challenged the current champs to a tag team contest after they won the turmoil part of the match.

However, the battle in Phoenix to determine the Tag Team Champions is most likely going to reach it’s full conclusion at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view

You can check out a clip below.

Some believed that The Revival were going to accept American Alpha’s open challenge last night, although the segment ended with a total scuffle which deemed nobody the winner.

The last time SmackDown had a tag-team turmoil match there were also rumors of the Revival making their blue brand debuts to get those belts, Scott Dawson made the following simple comment after the announcement was made concerning Elimination Chamber last night.

It should also be noted that the last time The Revival were rumored to jump to the main roster as part of a tag-team turmoil match that Dawson got some heat on himself with his response.

Naomi was also a guest on Talking Smack last night where it was revealed that she will be challenging Alexa Bliss for her SmackDown Women’s Title in Phoenix at Elimination Chamber.

Although Bliss makes a very good heel champion and some expect Becky Lynch to be the one to take the blue brand’s Women’s Championship off of her, Naomi is going through a very nice resurgence since her return, and has found herself on a hot-streak of sorts, so it might be possible that the Smackdown women’s division could very well feel the glow on February 12th.
