Throughout the year AEW has been reshuffling the deck when it comes to the roster by signing new stars and letting contacts expire, but it looks like at least two names will be sticking with the company moving forward.
Fightful Select reports that 2point0 have signed contract extensions with All Elite Wrestling. Angelo Parker and Matt Menard, formerly known as Chase Parker and Matt Lee, first joined the company on August 4, 2021 and it was announced on August 19 of that same year that they had signed full-time deals. Over the last few months they’ve been featured regularly on AEW programming as members of the Jericho Appreciation Society.
2point0 previously competed in NXT as Ever-Rise. They signed contract extensions with WWE in June of 2021, but were released from the company later that month. People in AEW have reportedly noted that they two talents have been good to work over the last year.
Details regarding the length of the contract extensions are unknown at this point in time. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
