All Elite Wrestling first launched in 2019, and a number of stars have been with the company from the beginning. Private Party have been working through the ranks in the tag team division since the early days of AEW and they finally managed to capture the AEW World Tag Team Championship a few weeks ago.
Recently Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen talked about their journey with AEW so far on the AEW Unrestricted podcast. During the show both members of Private Party talked about how proud they are to be AEW originals and added that they don’t plan on ever leaving the company.
Isiah Kassidy: “Honestly, one of the biggest things I like to hang on my shoulder is that we’re AEW originals. We’ve been here from the very beginning and I don’t plan on ever leaving. Hopefully Tony wants to keep me, but I’m very proud to be an AEW original, that’s one thing that I’m super super proud of.”
Marq Quen: “Me too.”
Isiah Kassidy: “AEW and Tony Khan, it literally changed my life and I am super grateful, super gracious, and so thankful. I am very proud to be an AEW original.”
Marq Quen: “I wouldn’t say it changed my life more than it gave me a life. Ever since that first match, remember I was just like, ‘I can die happy.’ Now, this?”
