During this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite the Gunn Club made their way down to the ring to face the Varsity Blondes and the Gunn Club made short work of their opponents as they squashed them in a short match.
After the match Billy Gunn celebrated with his sons, but Austin and Colten Gunn turned on their father as Stokely Hathaway made his way down the ramp. Luckily for Billy Gunn, The Acclaimed came down to make the save.
It seems that there was some frustration among the Varsity Blondes following the match as Griff Garrison took to Twitter to post a simple one word tweet which said, “Frustrated”
It’s also worth noting that Brian Pillman Jr. retweeted several posts criticizing the match including one from a fan who said that the Varsity Blondes deserve better and another tweet calling for Chris Jericho to take Pillman Jr. under his wing. Another fan pointed out that Brian Pillman Jr. didn’t even get tagged in during the match.
