This week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw featured some huge announcements regarding the Royal Rumble pay-per-view. It was revealed that Brock Lesnar will be defending his Universal Championship against Kane and Braun Strowman in a triple threat match, Elias was announced as the first entrant in the 2018 Royal Rumble match, and Stephanie McMahon confirmed that the first ever women’s Royal Rumble match will take place next month.
The women of the WWE have been making history over the last few years, and they’ll be making history once again on January 28.
The first ever women’s Royal Rumble is sure to be a big deal and a WWE Hall of Famer wants in the match.
Shortly after the match was announced, Twitter exploded, and WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus teased that she’ll be putting her boots back on the for match.
Trish has taken a “never say never” approach when it comes to returning to the ring, so it appears that the door is open if she does decide to participate in the match. We’ll have to wait and see.
