Ever since CM Punk and AJ Lee parted ways with WWE fans have been talking about a possible return for the former champions, and talk has only intensified since Punk joined WWE Backstage as an analyst.
It remains to be seen whether or not either one of them will return, but during a recent conference call Triple H addressed the possibility of both stars getting back in a WWE ring.
“If it was right for them, for the company, for everyone involved, then absolutely. I don’t think that’s ever been a factor, of somebody saying “this person should be here, or that person should be here.”
“In a perfect world? Yeah, sure. Again, you’ve heard Vince echo that sentiment so many times of the years, never say never!”
Punk has said that it would take a very “big bag” to get him to return to the ring in WWE, but it seems that at this point neither side has made an effort to talk about the possibility of a match happening.
