Triple H has been putting his own team together behind the scenes for years now and last summer he took over creative for WWE. It sounds like Jeremy Borash has been a key figure in Triple H’s team as Kevin Nash recently noted during an episode of his Kliq This podcast that Borash has become The Game’s right hand man.
“Borash is absolutely a breed above [others]. I mean, he’s like Triple H’s right-hand man.”
During a media call promoting NXT TakeOver in 2020, Triple H addressed the concept of cinematic matches, and he praised Jeremy Borash for being one of the people who took them to the next level.
“It’s a funny thing that people say all of a sudden there’s this cinematic thing. But people have been doing these matches for 20 years: Rock and Mick Foley at Halftime Heat, Austin and Booker in the grocery store. There’s so many of those over the years,” stated Triple H.
“Did they do a great job of taking [the recent ones] to the next level? Absolutely. Jeremy is an incredible talent with an eye for storytelling. I can’t tell you how much I love working with him but there was a whole team of people that worked on that as well.”
Jeremy Borash was one of the key people who worked on the Boneyard match which saw The Undertaker defeat AJ Styles at WrestleMania 36. The match was ultimately The Undertaker’s last bout, but it sounds like Jeremy Borash has continued to move up the ladder in WWE since then.
