Triple H has been a key figure behind the scenes in WWE for some time now, but The Game has been quiet for months following the cardiac event he suffered last year. It’s been reported that Triple H is unlikely to wrestle again and it seems that people in WWE are unsure of his status.
PWInsider reports that Lisette Pineda, Manager of Global Talent Strategy and Development for World Wrestling Entertainment has been let go. Pineda worked closely with Triple H and was described as his “top executive assistant.” With Triple H not being around some in WWE figured it was just a matter of time before she was let go as her role has been limited at best in his absence.
It’s also being said that Pineda’s departure has sparked discussion about whether or not Triple H is ever returning to the company as people who used to be in constant communication with him have not spoken to The Game in some time. There is no timeline for Triple H’s return, and there’s no indication that he’s close to stepping back into his former role.
Pineda’s exit is seen as a sign that Triple H is not close to returning. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
