Triple H has been in the wrestling industry for a long time, and throughout the course of his career he’s worked with some of the biggest names in the business.
The former WWE Champion is currently helping to build up the next generation of Superstars with NXT, and he also played a big role in making Batista and Randy Orton into the stars they are today
In the latest episode of WWE’s Ruthless Aggression series on WWE Network Triple H talked about recruiting Batista and Orton for Evolution, and he noted that he warned them that the locker room would try to bury them.
“Dave, Randy, listen, let me talk to you guys. I pulled them in a room and I said, ‘So you are about to hit the hate button from everybody.’ Every single person in this room, they’re going to tell you, ‘Why man, this is a great opportunity,’ and they’re going to bury you. All of a sudden, everybody you thought was your friend, you’re going to find out they’re not your friends.”
Obviously everything worked out for Batista and Orton, as Batista is set to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this year, and although Orton is still active it’s safe to say he’s already had a Hall of Fame worthy career.
