Fans waited years for The Shield to reunite, and it finally happened a few weeks ago on Raw. The Hounds of Justice got back together, and they wasted no time getting back to their old ways, but unfortunately the reunion was cut short due to health issues with Roman Reigns.
Roman was pulled from the TLC pay-per-view, but everything worked out in the end because Kurt Angle ended up joining The Shield for one night only, and he helped carry his team to victory at the event.
The Shield reunion was originally advertised for WWE’s European tour, but with Roman Reigns out of action, Ambrose and Rollins had to look to an unlikely source for help.
Triple H teamed up with Ambrose and Rollins at the WWE live event in Glasgow, Scotland, and together they defeated the team of Cesaro, Sheamus, and Bray Wyatt who made his return to action at the event.
The Game was even presented with a Shield vest, and he helped deliver the Triple Power Bomb to Cesaro to get the win.
“I had to make a call I never thought I’d make,” said The Kingslayer on his need to recruit The King of Kings, his WrestleMania 33 opponent and longtime adversary. “Desperate times. Always have a Plan B.”
