This is one of the best things we’ve seen in a while and in this business we see awesome stuff all the time. It not only displays how much fun Stephanie McMahon and Triple H have but also just how engrained WWE is with pop culture at this point.
The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon often throws their guests in situations that you wouldn’t normally see them in, but when The Billion Dollar Princess started lip-synching to Moana nobody saw this kind of ending coming.
Judging by the reactions on the faces of Jimmy Fallon and The New Day who also made the show, it was quite shocking to not only see Triple H take the microphone and fake-belt out the rousing chorus from the Acadamy Award-winning song from Moana, but they were also shocked to see how far he took it. It was also really cool to see Triple H display some of his eclectic acting chops and it makes us wish there was a lip-sync scene in The Chaperone.
It is much different Triple H than when he gears up to a Motorhead song before taking to the ring, that’s for sure. But he still seemed very much in his element as well. We also have to give props to Stephanie McMahon as well because she was really getting into it too. But when Triple H grabbed the microphone to finish the song, it was hard to notice anything else.
Clad in a tight t-shirt to show off his physique, the WWE COO glided around and really got into the anthem from Moana. Seeing how Trips and Stephanie have three daughters, they have probably listened to that song many times before. But judging by how the two performed the song, “How Far I’ll Go” might just be their regular jam during those midnight workout sessions.
