It’s being reported by PWInsider that WWE has filed paperwork with the SEC which reveals that Triple H has signed a new three year deal to work for the company as a wrestler. The paperwork was reportedly filed on May 9th which seems to indicate that WWE has plans for Triple H to perform in the ring through at least WrestleMania 35. It was noted that after the three years is up the deal will renew annually unless one of the parties decides that they want to terminate the deal.
Triple H recently spoke to Muscle & Fitness about when he plans to hang up the boots and he said the following:
“I think about that. I don’t want to be doing this just to do it. In the past several years there have been opportunities that have presented themselves. It all depends on the year. If you ask me right now about next year, I’m not even thinking about next year. I’m thinking about WrestleMania, and on Monday, after WrestleMania is over, I’ll think about what’s next after that.”
It looks like Triple H is feeling like he has at least a few more good years in him. He recently returned to the ring facing off against stars such as Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose. The 14 time World Champion still appears to be in great shape and he was able to keep up with the younger stars despite the fact that he’s going to be turning 47 in July.
Triple H has been stepping into the ring on a part time basis for years now and it looks like he’ll likely be working at least three more WrestleManias. Who do you want to see Triple H face at WrestleMania in the future? Sound off in the comments below.
