Seth Rollins is most well known for using the stomp as his finisher, but from time to time Seth has had to switch things up and adopt a new finisher.
At one point Seth was using the Pedigree on a regular basis, and he still busts out the move when he feels it’s needed.
Triple H recently spoke to FOX Sports about what happened when Seth asked permission to use the move, and he explained exactly how it went down.
“He asked. He came to me, and he was like, ‘How would you feel about it, but given the storyline and everything else, how would you feel about me using the Pedigree?’ I was like, ‘If you think that benefits you, please do. Like, I would be honored.’ And, you know, and it worked for him for a while. So yeah, I was happy for him to do it. You know, there’s moments in your career where there are things like they say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. So that for me, if he felt like it was meaningful to him, I was glad he could use it and get something out of it.”
