Triple H Responds To Criticism Over WWE’s Lack Of Black World Champions

During yesterday’s NXT conference call Triple H was asked about black World Champions in WWE and if he thinks Apollo Crews is World Championship material. The subject of African American World Champions in WWE is always a hot topic among fans as many feel as if Booker T’s World Championship reign doesn’t count and the same goes for The Rock. Triple H addressed the criticism from the fans by saying the following.

“I always chuckle at the whole ‘first African-American [WWE World Heavyweight Champion].’ Rock and Booker T, I guess those guys don’t count,” Triple H said. “I never understand that mentality.”
